What is the Reanimator?

The REANIMATOR device meets all European certifications and approvals. The REANIMATOR is 100% recyclable. REANIMATOR is recommended for use by children 12 years and older.

 

In first aid courses, CPR evokes mixed feelings among attendees. On the one hand, a sense of curiosity to learn about such an important subject, one in which we should all be trained to know how to respond in an emergency situation. And on the other, a sense of respect, not to mention overwhelm or fear, at the thought of finding yourself in such a situation and not knowing how to react.

REANIMATOR is the intermediate step from the moment a heart attack occurs until the arrival of the 112 emergency teams.

It helps maintain a constant rhythm of 100 to 120 beats per minute by pressing the REANIMATOR button to the rhythm of the "Tick Tock" sound emitted by the device, thus adjusting the pressure just right and without causing rib fractures.

 

As soon as cardiorespiratory arrest is detected, the heart must be pumped as quickly as possible. During the first three minutes after cardiorespiratory arrest occurs, there is still oxygenated blood in the body that must be mobilized quickly to reach the vital organs.

How is the CPR method performed?

  • Rest the REANIMATOR® on the lower center of the sternum.

  • Place the heel of one hand on the REANIMATOR® button and the other hand on top of the first, interlacing your fingers.

  • Always keep your arms extended.

  • Start with the REANIMATOR® by pushing down on the person's chest until it collapses and you hear the device click, repeating the function at a rate of 100 to 120 times per minute (see video below).

How to perform CPR with a Reanimator?

In the event of a myocardial infarction, you have three minutes for resuscitation with a high degree of success.
